Dulcinea was started in June 2009 by Emma Bowen as a way to spread her passion for sustainable living, eating, and baking through the delicious sweets she loves to create.

Emma has worked as a baker for Naturally Delicious, a boutique catering company in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, and as a cook for Cook-Life Handcrafted Catering, also in New York City.
